Combine PDF results in blank pages

New Here ,
Nov 22, 2021 Nov 22, 2021

When using the combine PDF function, one particular user is experiencing an issue where a specific form we use has pages replaced with blank pages.  Combine is being used to merge 2 complete PDF documents, no editing done in the process.  Same process used with same forms on other computers (same brand/model computers) and aren't having issues.  Tried first using Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard, then Adobe Acrobat X Standard and issue persists for both.  Computers are less than 6 months old running Windows 10.  Form is a PDF generated from our ERP which has been used for over a year without issue until this particular user.

Steps taken:

- Issue identified with user using Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard

- Repair tool run, no luck

- Full uninstall/reinstall, no luck

- Full uninstall, deleted all AppData, reinstalled, no luck

- Full uninstall, installed Adobe Acrobat X Standard, issue persists.

I've seen a couple of other posts about this but those posts didn't seem to identify a consistent resolution.  I did check that the display option for large images is checked.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, Combine PDF results in blank pageswith Acrobat 9 and X

and it works fine with the same file on a different machine.

Would you mind sharing the verion of the Adobe Acrobat installed on the other machine?

As yo have tried most of the troubleshooting steps with no luck, please try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Windows and try using the application there and check.

Note: Adobe Acrobat 9 and X, both are EOL application. For more information please check the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/end-of-support-acrobat-x-reader-x.html

Thank you for the response.  All other users are also using Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard.  I will try to set up a new profile to check.

You should start your own thread for this. OP had trouble with Acrobat 9. As the OP did not come back after their last message, you should suppose that setting up a new user profile solved the issue.
