I have a user that uses Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020. She was combining files and then made some redactions to said file. When she went to apply changes the file crashed and cause her to lose the entire document. I have tried looking for it in a temporary folder but with no success.
Sorry to hear about the trouble caused and delay in response to your issue reported here.
If the application suddenly crashes and there's no backup created for the file, then it's hard to recover the document's changes.
If you have had a copy on cloud storage, it can be looked at there, as it might have saved the changes automatically. Else, you have to start all over again.
