Hi,

We have noticed today morning onwards Comment enable option is not working in all adobe acrobat pro applications, We have tried in all different professional versions like Acrobat 8, Acrobat 9, Acrobat 10, Acrobat 11.

"You don't have permissions to write to this file" message coming in all windows 10, windows 11 PC.

Note:

1. Only Acrobat DC this opction is working.

2. If we change system date (09-Jan-2023) this option working fine in all older acrobat pro versions.

Please some one look on this and provide the bugfix.

Hi @Abiraman2539302307ye

++ Adding to the discussion

Adobe Acrobat 8,9,10 and 11 are EOL applications and are incompatible with the latest MAC and Windows OS version. For more information about EOL applications, please go through the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/support/programs/eol-matrix.html

For information about the system requirements, please check the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/system-requirements-old-versions.html

Hope this information will help.

Regards

Amal

LATEST

This is correct, as of 7 January 2023. Yes, you need Acrobat Pro DC to Reader enable now. Faking the date might conceivably work, but I can't recommend it.

There is no bug. The fix is to use Acrobat Pro DC (latest version update).
