Hi,
I am one of the IT in our company and I have a user who has a PDF with 595 comments. He does not have any issue with commenting using Acrobat XI Standard for this file.
Recently, the Adobe Acrobat DC Standard (version: 2015.006.30033) was pushed to my user and the commenting does not work on this file anymore.
When he open the PDF, click on the Comment, the comments are loading slowly until reaches 595. After which, he cannot do anything in the document like clicking on comment on the right does not highlight the corresponding comment in the PDF or if he clicks on the comment in the PDF, it does not highlight this comment in the comment list on the right (this function works well in Acrobat XI Standard). Moreover, searching for page number, it does show the number of matching result but does not display the results itself. In addition, even the menus on top (File, Edit, View, etc) do nothing when you click on it.
I tried to replicate this issue on my own company laptop, it is reproducible and no issue if I use the Acrobat XI standard.
I disabled the Protected Mode but it does not make any difference. The issue of my user is the same with this thread: Acrobat DC can't load many comments but I do not see working solution provided.
Appreciate your help on this issue.
Regards,
Jerome

Hi jeromeyumul,
Thanks for reporting the issue!
Could you please update the Adobe Acrobat DC to the latest version available and try to reproduce the issue.
Also kindly let us know the system info (Win/Mac) and the version of Adobe Acrobat after update.
Regards,
Arvind

Hi,
We are using a SCCM package of Adobe Acrobat and updating the Acrobat is disabled on our company laptops. As such, I cannot test to update. We are using Windows 7.
Anyways, our Germany IT colleague who is responsible in our SCCM package for Adobe is in contact with Adobe too.
I will let him communicate with Adobe & get an update from him.
For the meantime, we can close this topic.
I'll update/post another if I require later.
