I received a pdf with comment boxes that do not show text. Only color rectangle where the comment should be. I checked the comment properties and there are none. Any ideas?

Did you check with the sender to see if there is text attached to the comments?
When you say "comment boxes", do you mean on the page or in the comments panel?
Can you post a screen shot of what you mean?
