Since the last update, i have found a large issue when commenting on PDFs. I often work between two files, so if i start making a comment on one PDF (let's call it PDF A), and then mid comment, click on another PDF (let's call it PDF B), then the unfinished comment completely dissapears.
The only way to avoid it is to post the unfinished comment before clicking on the other PDF and then returning back and editing the comment again. Given i might do this thousands of times every day, this is simply not practical.
Please can you advise how to stop the comments simply disapearing mid comment.
Thank you

Hi @kylie_5822 ,
Unfortunately i am not locally able to reproduce this issue. On switching between tabs, the comment gets posted automatically.
By disappearing do you mean that your comment gets discarded if you switch between the tabs to work on 2 different PDFs. If yes, could you please share a small screen recording of the workflow that you're doing.
It will help us in understanding and fiding the solution for the issue.
Thanks.

Hi @Prashant. Thanks for your response. Please see attached video. As you can see, the comment gets completely discarded when you click from one PDF to the next. I have tried it in both the new and old version of Acrobat and it is no different.
I appreciate any help you can offer.

Try to revert to the Classic UI: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/acrobat-2023-how-to-revert-to-classic-gui-user-in...
Consider the "new Acrobat" as a beta version, many features are still missing or half-implemented.

Thanks @JR Boulay I have tried it in both versions, and the issue persists.

Hi @kylie_5822 ,
Thank you for reproting this issue. we have acknowledged the issue and have reported this.
We will inform on this thread once this is fixed and is shipped.
This issue seems to be happening only when you are using multiple acrobat windows. So for now, you can try using tabs to switch between the files in single acrobat window as workaround.
Thanks,
Prashant.
