Compare Files Returning "No Changes" when I know there are many differences between files.

I have Adobe Acrobat DC and have used the Compare Files feature quite successfully for a couple of years now. All of a suddent I started having major issues with the scan and OCR feature which I always used prior to using the compare files feature. Using the Adobe support community I was able to rememdy the errors I was having with Scan and OCR feature but now the compare files feature is just not working regardless of the fixes I've tried which include installing latest updates, deleting files and starting over and saving in a different location. 

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Could you please confirm if the issue occurs only with the PDFs which are scanned?

Would it be possible to share the PDF that you are trying to compare?

Share the Acrobat and OS versions on the machine.
