I was working in Acrobat Pro DC this evening (August 12), comparing files and annotating changes, and it auto-updated the program. Following the update, the "Compare Files" tool is no longer working properly. It recognizes entire pages and sections as deleted whether or not there were updates. The updates are always very minor. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and I'm experincing the same problem. Is this a glitch with the update?
I realized what the issue is. For some reason, it was reading the second document as a scanned document although it wasn't. I ran text recognition and then tried the comparison again, and it worked. 🙂
Good to know if I (or anyone else) experience(s) this issue again.

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 and there is no Compare option under tools. I then purchase the Creative Cloud subscription of AAPro and still not option to Compare. Has this been discontinued? I have searched every option in tools and view and can't locate.
