I've started a free trial of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. But when I try to add some features, like Compare Files, I am required to upgrade my subscription. What. And documents open

You're probably still running Acrobat Reader. Check the title bar or About box.

Yes, that-s true. It is still Acrobat Reader. I have dowloaded the Pro DC but it still opens the Reader. Any clues?

No, I can't. No matter which way I try and open Acrobat, what I get is the Acrobat Reader.

An installation problem? When I downloaded Acrobat Pro DC, it immediatlly opened the Reader as well.

The installer for both versions is the same. In order for it to switch to Acrobat you need to have a valid trial subscription associated with your account (or a regular subscription, of course), and you need to be logged in to that account in the application.
