COMPARE PDF FILES

Community Beginner ,
Oct 08, 2017 Oct 08, 2017

I am using Adobe Acrobat Standard 2017 (classic).  The installation tutorial states that there is a compare pdf files feature in the tools tab.  However I cannot find any such tool.  May I ask why it would not be available?

Thank you.

The Compare feature is available only in Acrobat Pro and not in Acrobat Standard.

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 and Creative Cloud Pro and have no access to a compare tool in either one.

Hi @Karen23462232oaug,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble, and the delayed response.

Since you are already subscribed to Acrobat Pro DC through the Creative Cloud, please run the Acrobat cleaner tool https://adobe.ly/40hNqQO, reboot the computer once, and install the application using the direct link https://adobe.ly/40ee25p and see if that works for you.
