I've used Acrobat's OCR functionality in the past and have never experienced such a greater loss of quality with lack of text recognition.
I have a large screenshot with rows of data that I'd like converted to text. In my experience this quality is more than sufficient to perform OCR. I enhanced the scan using: to JPEG, Monochrome CCITT Group 4 at the highest quality.
After OCR the text is completely illegible. It looks like I downsampled it to 36ppi. Below is the before and after.

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble, and the delayed response.
We made some improvements to the OCR workflow in the upcoming releases, which should fix the issue.
Would you mind updating the app to the latest version (2024.005.20320) and let us know if the experience improved?

I to am having very poor quality ocr output. I have version 2024.005.20400.
