Completed Form Fields Disappear When Sending For Signature

Hi there,

 

I have a fillable form which I add details to before sending for a signature. After I add the details required in each field I then want to send it for a signature. All of the information I add into the form dissapears when I click through to addd the signature fields. How do I keep the information in the fillable form when moving through to setting it up for sending for signature?

 

This was working before the new update.

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out. 

 

Have you started experiencing this issue recently?  A small video recording of the workflow /steps you are doing would be very helpful. 

 

What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version, go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 23.03.20284 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

 

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. Also, please share the PDF file in question with us so that we can test it at our end.

Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

You may also try to request signatures online via the link https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/home/ and see if that works for you,

I just experienced this today. Trying to get an energy contract out and with volatile markets, failed. Because after three tries of putting all the text fields, prefilling them, adding all the signature fields, scroll back to the top to check everything - and everything is GONE. Except for the very last signature field on the whole document. So frustrated right now, with an unhappy client, and unhappy salesman, and frankly no one else to blame but Adobe. It started to update Adobe in the middle of the first attempt, turns out that wasn't the reason. And I do restart my commputer every day and have it set to do automatic updates. I restarted computer, I checked updates on windows and adobe, nothing. I tried again, same problem. Then I went to the web version instead of the app on my laptop - and same problem. 1.5 hours later, I got the message that no more contracts would be issued today and now we have to wait and see new energy pricing Monday. Level of frustration is high right now.
