Hello all,
We are using Creative Cloud in our company. The PR department came to us in IT and would like to buy a new program to compress PDF documents. In the files text as well as images are used.
Unfortunately, I do not use Creative Cloud myself.
What experience have you had with Acrobat? Are there any special tips for the settings?
Thanks for your help!

PDF files are already compressed. If you want to compress them further it will be at the cost of their quality, or by removing some objects from them (such as metadata info, fonts info, etc.).

We have PDF files with ~60MB and want to compress them to ~10MB with the lowest quality loss.
So far we have not been able to find the best settings for this.

Compression is not magic. You can't just get rid of 80% of a file's size just like that. You need to look carefully into what takes up space in the file and then think how to reduce that. If it's images, remove them or reduce their size and/or resolution. If it's fonts, get rid of all that you can and rely on the built-in fonts in the app (Helvetica, Courier, Times New Roman, etc.), and so forth.
Get ready! An upgraded Adobe Community experience is coming in January.
