Constantly "Upgrading additional features" interrupts activity

This program is always flashing "Upgrading additional features". I can't even open the damned help menu.

I have seen other people complain about this but no resolution. WTF is wrong with this company?

Acrobat, by design, installs the base application to save up storage on your device.

Other features, like the Pre-flight are installed dynamically when launched for the first time. 

We request you to kindly allow the application some time to download and install the features.

If it takes longer than usual, please run the Acrobat cleaner tool https://adobe.ly/4fQb24U, reboot the computer once, and install the application using the direct link https://adobe.ly/3PwNoj1 and see if that works for you.
