Continuous ID Password Request

New Here ,
Apr 29, 2024 Apr 29, 2024

Hi,

I use Acrobat quite a bit. I am being frustrated because each time I open Acrobat, it prompts me for a password. Sometimes it prompts for a pin and password, even though I have this saved on my MacBook Pro. It is really frustrating have to constantly re-enter a password. This is on a secure home network. I'm running Sonoma 14.4.1.

I understand that security is important, but this is beyond security awareness, just straight into irritation. Is there a way to turn this off? Or at lest for Acrobat to stop constantly prompting me for a password.

This should not happen that often - at least I am not seeing this on my Mac (running Ventura). I would try to sign out and then sign back in. You can find this under Acrobat's Help menu.

Hello,

It is still asking for Pin and a password when I log in.

As the next step in resolving this issue, I would uninstall Acrobat using the Acrobat Cleaner (https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html) and then re-install. This is my go-to solution for anything "weird" in Acrobat.
