Try doing the operation with protected mode off. You can set that off and on in the properties.

  • what is your OS and version
  • what is your Acrobat version (please the exact version number)
  • is the space where you try to save a NAS or similar or is it a local space.
  • if it is a network drive, could you try saving to a local drive?
