Convert A0 to multiple A3

Hi, is there a way I can convert a poster  whihc is A0 to a multi page document of A3 pages - split the A0 into 9 x A3 pages in a new document?

I need to be able to save the 9 x A3 onto UBS so I can print at a printing place.

You can use Illustrator for doing that. But there is also a possibility to print the page on multiple pages. But that is not controlable.
