Attempting to PDF a document from MS Word (MS365, Win 10) and it is taking upwards of 10 minutes, and will usually end with an error. This specific file is 200 pages, but a smaller file takes the same amount of time. Bookmarks tend not to show up, the system seems to hang at "Updating tags". I also received an error when opening Word (attached) related to the PDFmaker add-in not working.
Troubleshooting attempted:
resetting preferences, both in appdata and registry
removing and re-adding Acrobat add-in in MS Word
updated and repaired both MS Office and Acrobat Pro
Win 10 22H2 fully updated
Reinstalled MS and Acrobat Pro (and changed to 32bit)
verified hardware is not bottlenecking
rebuilt the file in case broken headings were the problem
downloaded the file locally instead of from the file server
every different way of creating a PDF (Print, save as, save as Adobe PDF, convert from the Acrobat ribbon, convert from word file in Acrobat)
I am at wit's end with this, any further ideas are appreciated. This delay is a new problem, as a month ago the system was not hanging up or causing issues. 100-page documents were PDFing within a minute or less, the same files are now taking 7-10 minutes and failing. A different PDF program will print this file in a minute (with small issues, adobe is preferred).

Hi there
Hope you are doing well and sorry to keep you waiting.
If you are still experiencing this issue, would you mind sharing the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 23.08.20555 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.
Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://adobe.ly/3TqjQXf and see if that works.
