Convert Word doc to special pdf

I own Adobe Acrobat Pro XI which I have not used in a long time except for viewing pdfs. So I am very rusty in using it.

I now need to convert a Word doc file to a pdf with special requirements and would appreciate exact directions how to achieve this.

The Word document is 278 pages long and contains numerous color images. The fonts are all imbedded. The Word page size is "B5" which means width of 6'93" and Height 9'84". This needs to remain the same in the pdf.

The pdf needs to be:

1. the pdf must be PDF/X-1a:2001 or PDF/X-3:2002 compliant.
2. the images must be CMYK

 What do I need to do to ensure compliance with #1 and 2.
