Converting a MS Word file with multiple page sizes - help

New Here ,
May 05, 2019 May 05, 2019

Hi all,

I have a large single word document with a combination of A4 portrait pages and A3 landscape pages in different sections of the document. When I convert it to PDF the A3 pages are cropped to A4 landscape and the content is chopped off. How can I convert the document and maintain the page sizes?

It used to be automatic in older versions of Adobe Pro. Thanks

How are you converting it, exactly? What command are you using?

Also, what version of Acrobat and of Office do you have?

Reiterating the request of the previous responder, you must advise as to the OS (Windows? MacOS? and version), version of Word, exact version of Acrobat, and what method you used to create PDF.

I did create a sample Word document with two pages A4 portrait followed by two pages A3 landscape, followed by two pages A4 portrait. I am running on Windows 10 Pro x64, Office 365 x64 (Word 2019 equivalent), and Acrobat Pro DC (2019.010.200100). I created PDF via the Acrobat PDFMaker facility (Acrobat Tab and the Create PDF command) with the Preferences set for the Standard joboptions. The page sizes and orientations in the resultant PDF matched those of the original Word document exactly.

See the attached Word and PDF files.

Thus, we do need the information we have requested for any further follow-up.
