Converting from 2 columns to 1 column

Hi,

I have a pdf that has a 2-column format. Meaning, on one page, there are two columns of text. Since I want to read the pdf on my e-reader, I would like to have only 1 column for each page. 

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro. Is there a way to convert from 2 columns to 1 column in Acrobat, without downloading external programs?

2.  in Acrobat you can reflow the content to make sure the document knows how the document should be read. more at Edit document structure with the Content and Tags panels (Adobe Acrobat Pro)
