Upgraded to Windows 11. When I try to convert Outlook Folders to PDF, the conversion does not include an Index. I get an error message that there was a problem and the index could not be created. The files in the folder do convert-just no index. How do I fix this please?

John, thanks for the quick note. Unfortunately I am not sure of the answer to your question. When I look in Outlook, I see "Acrobat" on the top line. When I select this, I see choices for "Selected Messages", "Selected Folders" and "Change Conversion Settings". I'm assuming Acrobat is the software that is Outlook is using. When I want to convert an Outlook folder to PDF, I right click on the mouse and I get an option at the bottom of the menu that reads "Convert XXX to Adobe PDF". Does this answer your question?

I believe John was referring to to the version of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC that you're using.
That said, it is also helpful to state in which version of Outlook is this problem occuring.
Also, from which version of MS Windows 10 did you upgraded to version 11?
In the link below is a list of MS Windows 10 versions which can help identify which one you had before:

Does that help?

I apologize for taking so long in replying back.
I don't have MS Windows 11 yet so I had to document myself and think a little bit outside of the box.
Users of MS Windows 11 may notice that some features that used to be included in Windows 10 doesn't exist in Windows 11 anymore, or the procedures to get a result done have changed.
With that in mind, I would say that you may need to check if when you upgraded to Windows 11 it defaulted to disabled indexing for all files and folders, in which case you must manually enable indexing.
But more importantly, I think you'll also need to rebuild your Outlook version's index.
What is consfusing to me about your issue is that Microsoft Office 365 comes with MS Outlook 2016, not the 2012 version which is completely incompatible with Windows 11.
If this would be the case, I am unsure how exactly you've been working around with an older version of MS Outlook in MS Windows 10, and yet, have another more recent version of Outllok 2016 that is bundled with you MS Office 365 suite of software applications.

I have no idea how to do either of these two things. Where can I get information please?

One easy way is to repair the MS Office installation. OR, completely uninstall and reinstall your Outlook, but prefereably use the following troubleshooting guidelines from Micrososft support listed below:
