Converting PDF's to Word docs, always running into format issues

New Here ,

Hi all,

It seems that every time I convert a pdf into a word doc in order to edit it, I run into maddening format issues (paragraph spacing / page breaks, etc). I always presumed that these issues were the result of macros contained in the source document itself, but now I'm starting to think that I might be missing a feature, or an actual step in the conversion process itself, that might smooth out these issues. I'm using the latest version Adobe Acrobat with all the bells and whistles.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
