Converting PDF to Word and keeping Endnotes linking?

I have exported a Indesign file to a PDF.

From Acrobat converted the PDF to a Word doc.

The hyperlinks come through to the Word doc but none of the endnote references are linking to the endnotes. I've tried a couple of online PDF to Word converters but they haven't worked either.

Any help would be appreciated.
