using Acrobat, I convert text to outlines (print production > preflight > convert text to outlines). I double check the result by clicking file > properties > fonts. According to it, the document no longer contains fonts.
However, when I open my document on Illustrator, the text is still there and missing fonts are being replaced with alternative ones. Has anybody got any idea how to fix this? Thanks in advance. ✨
If this was a PDF made in Illustrator, all edits in Acrobat are ignored, and you will forever reopen the original file. You cannot use a roundtrip through Acrobat to outline fonts for Illustrator.
