Copy and Paste issues with Adobe Acrobat Pro

New Here ,
Feb 14, 2024 Feb 14, 2024

This issue showed up after some windows updates back in October...

I have a PDF form I created for my Wind Mitigation and 4 Point insurance forms.   When Typing out "Tile Roof Detail" or any other caption, I select all, copy and paste it throughout the report on the roof photos,  same with electrical or plumbing...  I set a record today which has prompted me to seek assistance.

I tabbed to the field I wanted to copy, hit Ctrl+C, hit Tab to go to the next field and hit Ctrl+V.

I attempted to copy and paste 46 times before it actually pasted the string of characters.

I have an HP Envy x360 Laptop, purchased May of 2023.  Google Chrome, Home Inspector Pro 6, Dropbox and Adobe Pro.  No other programs.

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue.  Copy and Paste works fine in Home Inspector Pro and Chrome.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the delay.

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

Also make sure you have the recent version 24.01.20604 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://adobe.ly/3Tl0uS1 and check
