I'm running Acrobat 9 Standard.
I'd like to create a dropdown list for a fill-in form for Field: Marital Status
Options should be: Single, Married, Widowed, Divorced, Separated and Registered Partnership
I've looked around but can't seem to find an answer.
Help me please !!!

Acrobat 9 is ancient, and I don't have a computer anymore that is capable of running it, so I cannot actually give you step by step instructions. Based on what I remember, you select Forms>Add or Edit Form Fields, and then select the dropdown control. You then bring up the field properties editor and add your different options. This is where my memory is failing me, but today you would select the "Options" tab and add the different options.

Correct, the combo box is the correct type. It's called a combo box because it can actually also be used to manually add a value if configured that way.

Under Forms - Form Tools, I have Text Field, Check Box, Radio Button, List Box, Combo Box, Button, Digital Signature, and Barcode. I tried List Box, but it's a big box showing all the choices. Not good for a one line field.
Looks like Combo Box did the trick. Thanks for your help. Even though you sounded like you didn't think you helped me, you showed me where to start looking. Thanks again.
