Create Cross Reference links

New Here ,
Jul 23, 2024 Jul 23, 2024

I have successfully created  cross-reference links within my PDF linking endnotes back to the location of the endnote in the main body text.

The issue is that some of the references are randomnly not linking even though they are formatted the same.

Wondering if any one has encountered this issue or if there is a better way to achieve this.

I have figured out it does not work for the references which do not have punctuation immediately before.

eg. example,1802 or example1803

1802 will reference but 1803 will not.

Any ideas how I can fix this issue.

I created this through Plug-Ins, Links, Generate Links, Create Cross-Reference Links.

We have found a solution.  If there was no punctuation beforehand Adobe thought it was one entire word

example,1802  - this would search for '1802'

example1803 - this would search for 'example1803'

I added a space and then make the font 2pt so it appeared as there was no space.
