I am trialling Adobe Acrobat Pro v 2024.005.20320

Using the option to create a PDF from a Web site. It's working pretty well except... none of the images from the web site pages appear in the PDF.

I have checked the "Convert images" box in the HTML Settings but it make no difference.

Please help. Thanks.

Hi @alasdair23
Are you adding the URL for the web page or have you downloaded the html and using that?
I'd suggest try a few other web pages and see if there is a difference. I just tried a few URLs and one converted reasonably well with the images in the PDF, the other not so well. Converting a web page to a PDF has complexibilities as you're getting content designed to resize to a browser and to be scrolled (either veritically and/or horizontally) into a format (PDF) designed for print. So you can lose formatting or other compositional elements in the conversion process.

Let me know how you go with another web page. That can determine if it's a specific site issue or something on your side.

thanks dean,

i have been using the URL for the web page. i talked to Adobe Support for about an hour the other day and they could not help. It just seems a little hit and miss with some images appearing and others not.

My free trial is about to expire and I'm out of time so, unfortunately, I have to give up on Adobe for now.

Thanks again.
