Create PDF with searchable Text

Hello all;
I created a catalogue on Photoshop (I know I should have used InDesign for that but I only knew how to use PS when I started it) for someone but when I save it to pdf, it makes an image of the whole, making the text un-searchable.
How can I keep the texts layers in the PDF?
Thank you,
Marwan

You can't do that with Photoshop. If you want your layers to export to PDF, then you need to use InDesign or Illustrator.

Okay, I see. I'll redo it then. I hoped it'd be possible.
Thank you for your answers.

Texts are embedded in a Photoshop-PDF, but they are invisible because Photoshop files are image in theory.
No there is nothing that you can do until re-create the PDF with InDesign or another vector software, as mentionned above.

It's not the best solution, but you can always try to run Text Recognition on the file in Acrobat... If the text uses a standard font it's very likely that will be identified correctly.
