I am trying to see if there is a way to create a shortcut or tool so that when I am editing PDFs I can insert the same image in multiple files without having to go through all the steps each time and navigate through insert image, select the folder, navigate to the specific image file, resize etc. I have tried creating a stamp but it reduces the quality significantly. The custom actions do not seem to have this as an option either.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You can import an image from the local machine as the icon of a button field, using a custom-made script that will add the button and then import the image into it. You will have to run it from a privileged context, though, such as a folder-level script, an Action or a Custom Command.
