Creating a PDF from an existing PDF

New Here ,
Aug 19, 2023 Aug 19, 2023

Acrobat Pro on a Mac. I wish to select and copy part of a PDF and create another PDF. I select, and what I've selected is bounded in a blue box. I 'Copy' by either common method and it goes to 'Clipboard' (it says so).  I go to '+Create' and choose from 'Clipboard'. It does create an Untitled PDF but nothing appears. My 'Preferences' are in Default. It seems so simple; what am I doing wrong? Thanks

Assuming you're using the Edit Text & Images tools for the selection, after copying the part of the file you want to duplicate close the file, then create a new blank file (Ctrl+Shift+T when no other file is open), select that same tool and press Ctrl+V.

Thanks try67. Obviously it's a curiousity with this specific PDF. I'm able to copy/paste, etc with other PDF docs I have. I should've tried that before wasting your time. But thanks...it's much appreciated.
