Im using Acrobat Pro DC to make a PDF form ADA accessible. I have successfully completed all the tags etc. but I need to add 2 new form fields to the end of the PDF.  How can I create OBJR tags for the new form fields without starting all over?

You want to use the Find / Untagged Annotations from the Tag Panel's option menu.

Learn more about making accessible PDF forms from Adobe's free online seminar series at https://adobe.lookbookhq.com/acrobataccessibility

It's an excellent series hosted by Adobe's Rob Haverty who is part of Adobe's accessibililty team.

Does the order the of the subtag matter? I'm using the following tag for an email address and I'm wondering if the order is a best practice or compliance?

This

<Link>

   <FName.LName@gmail.com>

   <Link - OBJR>

Versus this:

<Link>

   <Link - OBJR>

  <FName.LName@gmail.com>

Hi,

What if the 'Find untagged annotations (or links)' says, "Find complete" with inactive options for the tag element button, but there's no "link - OBJR"? I've even searched from the top/parent "tags" tag for the doc.

FYI the posted links for the series here and in other relevent posts retrieve as "Resource not found."

Thanks!

Hi @staceyswinehart,

Hope you are doing well. Thanks for writing in!

Since you know that the "Link - OBJR" tag is missing, you can create it manually:

  1. Right-click on the relevant parent tag or the document tag.
  2. Choose New Tag and select the appropriate type (e.g., Link).
  3. Name it as "Link - OBJR" and associate it with the correct content.

Also, this should be the link to the series posted above: Adding Form Fields to a Tagged PDF | Adobe Acrobat
