Usinf Acrobat DC PRo and MAC Monterey (latest versions of both), I tried to "Create Multiple PDF Files" by selecting a folder containing dcx files (latest Office 365 Word version(. Only one file got converted and Adobe spunned around (nearly 100% CPU) goiing through all the files (one min plus per file) to only result in a series of "Cannot open file" errors (except for the first file on the list). I can convert all the files individually and rapidly with Acrobat wihtout any problem. Any suggestion or is it a feature?
I am having the exact same problems with Acrobat DC Pro and Windows 11. Batch conversion of word files is no longer working. I get the same "cannot open file" error and none of the Word files (doc and docx) were converted.
I tried again successfully a few days later. I suspect that, previously, the files could not be uploaded to the remote server where the conversion occurs. Incidentally, we are never told that the files are leaving our computers! There is also an inadequate error reporting about the problem other than an useless "file cannot be open" but not indicating a communication error.
