Acrobat installed from the Creative Cloud will no longer scan from or print to my Brother DCP-L2540DW. Iused to scan documents from it and print to it all the time. For some reason neither are working anymore. When I click Scan it freezes for a couple of minutes and then pops up the below error.
When I try to print it never sends it to the printer.
I can scan using other software and print using other software without issue.
I appreciate any assistance!

Can you please share Adobe Diagnostics logs using the Adobe Acrobat Diagnostics for further debugging of the issue.
Can you also check if there was any recent update to Brother driver for scanner?
