Custom plugin for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC

New Here ,
Sep 07, 2022 Sep 07, 2022

I have a plugin that was developed for Acrobat Pro XI that extracts data from a PDF back to a database.

This showed up under the Acrobat SDK menu item that appears when I open that version of Acrobat.

Moving over to a newer workstation and Acrobat Pro DC I can't see how to get the Acrobat SDK menu item to appear andthe plugin to be avaiulable.

I have copied the plugin into the plugins folder for the new workstation and that is as far as I get.

So a) how do i get the Acrobat SDK menu item to appear

     b) how do i then get the plugin to appear in that menu group.

Trying to find out how online is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Many thanks for any help on this.

Perhaps you now have 64-bit Acrobat. If so, you must build, or have made for you, a 64-bit plugin.

Many thanks, I think you are right as I have finally found similar details mentioned in a couple of other places.
