Im creating a new dymanic custom stamp, but instead of the date/time, when inserted, I need to then manually enter text into the dymanic text field.

How do I change the script in the dymanic feild of the stamp to do that?

Thanks

What exactly do you mean by they are "inside one"? A stamp file in Acrobat/Reader is a file that contains one or more pages. Every stamp you've created will be on a separate page, and that page will be configured to be a page template. The name of the page template is of the form of "aaaa=bbbb", whereas "aaaa" is a unique name (the AP name referred to above) that identifies the stamp, and "bbbb" is the name that will be shown to the user. If the "aaaa" starts with a pound sign ('#'), it indicates to Acrobat/Reader that the stamp script needs to be executed every time the stamp is placed.

If your stamp configuration is different (e.g. you use the same internal name ("aaaa") for two different stamps, things will not work correctly.

How did you create these two stamps? How exactly does the stamp file look like? Can you share it? If so, upload it to e.g. Adobe's Document Cloud and share the link here (instructions about how to do that are here: Share Documents via Adobe's Document Cloud - KHKonsulting LLC ). What exactly happens when you place the first stamp and what happens when you place the second stamp? Please provide e.g. screen shots so that we can understand what is happening on your computer.

Do you mean that you're trying to apply the stamp and it's inserting two instead of one? If not, then I don't understand what the problem is.

Hi,

yes exactly. If you look at the two images below, you will see that there is only one PDF file on my stamps. When you open it, it opens the two stamps I have created. But how can I separate them ?

Thanks,

But when you apply the actual stamps to a file, they are separate, right?

As mentioned, this behavior is normal, although it might not be desired (by you).

If you want to have separate files then delete one of the stamps, then move the PDF file from the Stamps folder to another location and then create the second stamp. You'll have two separate stamp PDF files that you could edit on their own.

To add what try67 said: If you have tow stamp files, these two stamp files can use the same stamp category, and will be listed under the same category in Acrobat/Reader.

Hi,

Thanks very much. I tried and the solution of moving the PDF file for the current location, adding a new stamp and then, moving back the original pdf files does work. I can now have two stamps in one personalised category and they do work fine !

Thanks a lot for your assistance !!

Regards,

Alex

Glad to hear it worked, but again, there's really no reason to do that, unless you want to share only one stamp with someone else, or something like that.
