Hi there

We hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out. We are sorry to hear you’re having trouble uninstalling Acrobat on your Mac. Error 136 usually points to permission or system-related issues that prevent the uninstaller from completing.

Please check the permissions on your system:

  • Make sure you’re signed in with an admin account on your Mac.
  • Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Full Disk Access, and temporarily allow access for the Acrobat uninstaller if it’s listed.

Try to remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool (https://adobe.ly/3JFSWbo) and see if that works.

Let us know if you experience any trouble and need more help.

Hello Amal,

Thanks for your  answer and your help!

I did the setting in the Full Disk Access section but I don't know how to use the Acrobat Cleaner Tool even with the link you've shared. Where do I need to click to download the tool?

I think I would need some more help 🙂

Thanks🙏🏻
