Hi, I am creating forms in Acrobat Pro and one field I am having trouble with the date field coming up as a US style date. Does anyone know how I can change this please?

Thank you.

Nevermind, I found that I had to revert it back to an acrobat form as at the beginning it was set to eSign or something along those lines!

Thanks anyway

Hi

I suppose you are using Acrobat Pro DC when you are in Prepare Form mode. Click on the calendar field, right-click and choose Properties. Go to Format tab and choose the Date format you want.

Let us know if that helps.

Thank you for your reply, Tariq,

Yes, I am using Acrobat Pro DC, unfortunately, I am not seeing all those tabs when in properties... only see General, Appearance, Position & Options...why would that be?

If you are using Acrobat Standard or Professional's  "Prepare form" tool and selecting only one field then you should see the pop-up. Other form creators might not provide this. You should also be aware that only update versions of Acrobat DC and Adobe Reader DC support this type of field. If your users will be using older versions of Acrobat or Reader or a non-Adobe product, then you must supply the code to provide the pop-up calendar. Free tools for adding this feature are available through PDFScripting.com or FormRouter. You will have to install these tools by adding the needed files to a system's folder. Both sites provide instructions but they might be updated for Acrobat DC.

The scripts or pup-up calendar might not work on mobile devices like iPhones, iPads, and android phones and tablets.
