Hello,
In reference to DCS for MSO365
When Sharing files in either OneDrive or SharePoint, if the sharing permission is set to Can't Download (Can View, but not Download), these PDF's will not open in Adobe Document Cloud:
We see this error page:
If the permission is otherwise set to Edit or Read, then the file opens correctly.
My initial thought is that Adobe must use the 'Download' permission to temporarily make the file available in their cloud and hence why this doesn't work.

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble, and the delayed response.
Yes, you are correct that Acrobat would need to have a local temp copy of the file to display on the desktop version, but that shouldn't be the case if you are trying to view the file on Acrobat web.
