To Deactive a computer from your subscription you go to the Main Adobe website, adobe.com, select "Manage Account" then "View Plan Details" and at the bottom of that page you will see a list of Active computers. Click the "Deactivate" link on the right.

1. Is this a perpetual license (Acrobat 2015, 2017, 2020)? Or a subscription (Acrobat DC)?

2. Do you get a message when trying to activate on the new computer? What is the message exactly?

This is a little surprising to me because you should EITHER have a serial number OR a subscription.  Do you pay every month for Acrobat Standard? Warning, scammers may contact you privately pretending to be Adobe staff. Adobe will never send you a private message asking you to email an account that isn't @adobe.com, or use Skype. Adobe never ask you for their password. These scammers want your Adobe info, credit cards, your money and control of your computer, please take care.

Yes, I paid every month.

I do have a serial number (just removed it from the screenshot) and the message showed up when I put the serial number to activate Acrobat DC Standard on my new laptop. Kindly advise.

Ok, I have no idea how you could have both a subscription and a serial number.... unless for some reason you are paying twice over.

However, since you are trying to use the serial number, you will need to contact Adobe Customer Service. Ask them for an "activation count reset".

However...if your subscription/purchase is through your company or school you must contact them, instead of Adobe.

If you have a Subscription you should not have a serial number also and or you should not be using a that serial number.

All subscription plans do not use a serial number for activation of the programs included in the subscription. Whether that is one program or the All Apps Plan. The activation happens by Signing In to either the program or the Creative Cloud Desktop app with the Email Address and Password, the Adobe ID, you used to buy the subscription.

Do you also have the CC desktop app installed and are you using that to download and install Acrobat DC Standard?
