Digital Signature requiring password but not accepting it.

I recently started having an issue when trying to digitally sign documents in Adobe Acrobat.  The digital signature comes up, requests my password, but does not accept my password.  Thus, effectively not letting me sign any documents.  Any ideas as to what might be going on?

Is there a different password for the digital signarure?  If so, how do you set/reset that?

When you create the signature you set also the password.

Bernd, I am sorry but this is not helpful.  Of course I have been using the password of the digital signature. But it is not being accepted.
