Disable selection other page objects when selecting form fields

Hi!

Created pdf as Interactive pdf from Indesign with text forms. When I try to select forms in Acrobat by grabbing the desired area with the mouse in the Prepare Forms menu, not only the forms themselves are selecting, but also all the objects on the page: graphics, text, and others. In this case, instead of the "black arrow" element in the menu, "edit text & images" is automatically highlighted (screens in attachement). This was not in previous versions of Acrobat and I would like to disable this feature, since there is simply no way to work with groups of forms.

In some places, this selection does not occur, but probably simply because no editable elements are captured.

What can i do? maybe downgrade Acrobat version?

Version of Acrobat: 2019.021.20048

Operating system: Mac OS 10.14.6

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello,

Same exact annoying problem on Win 10 64, Acrobat 2019.021.20048.

I'd like to either remove this tool or to be able to lock the black arrow selection tool (the lock option with the pinpoint has no effect).
Multiple steps of my workflow with Acrobat forms are affected, like multi-select fields to align them, or duplicate them, or edit a common property, etc.

Thanks

@BSN and others getting here : editing registry can temporarily do the trick, see https://community.adobe.com/t5/Acrobat/New-feature-Unified-edit-text-and-form-fields/td-p/10672394
You will need to adapt operations to a Mac registry, but key and value to create are indicated

At the below path add .plist named "com.adobe.Acrobat.FeatureState.plist" :-

/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Acrobat/DC/Preferences/

In .plist, add key as "ADC4275035_ClickEdit" and value as 0
