Discard image interpolation flag

Participant ,

I converted a non-standard PDF to PDF/X in Acrobat and during the process this message appeared: "Discard image interpolation flag" (I think that just one object was affected by this). What exactly is this and should this worry me?

I searched online and it seems that this is some kind of saved information inside the document that instructs the PDF reader how to smooth the images when displaying them, but I'm not sure. I also found out that this thing is required by PDF/A, but what I needed is PDF/X, so I'm confused.

Thanks
