My Acrobat Pro regularly changes/disfigures fonts in my documents without telling me.
"Correct.pdf" is a correct version. "Uncorrect.pdf" is a file where the font is disfigured by Acrobat Pro. If you take a look at the upper left part, numbers are changed, missing or substituted by exclamation signs, dollar signs, etc.
Is there any way to avoid this? Could I at least be told when it happens?

Does it changes the fonts when you view the file in Adobe Acrobat?

May be a issue of this old version.

I have now installed the newest version of Acrobat Pro both on my desktop and on my laptop.
On my laptop the mistake doesn't occur.
On my desktop the mistake continues to occur. I usually use my desktop for my work with Acrobat Pro.

Here's a thing that I've discovered right now:
If I change a number in the PDF and then save it to Press Ready, I get the mistake.
If I change a number in the PDF and first save it as Optimized PDF and subsequently as Press Ready, I don't get the mistake.
I hope that this work-around will continue to work.

I still don't understand why Acrobat Pro don't TELL the user when it substitutes a font. If it did, I would know and could do something about the mistake.
