Do I need the Creative Cloud on my phone?

I was having trouble viewing newly downloaded PDFs on my Android Phone today. I came here to the community to ask a question. Next thing I know I'm being asked if I want to allow the Creative Cloud to download and install. I chose yes. It downloaded and installed, and when I try opening it, it just keeps on displaying the terms. Over and over again, after I close it and reopen it, it displays the terms. I see no place to accept the terms. Now I'm wondering if I don't really do anything with Adobe except use it to view PDFs do I need or can I use the Creative Cloud?

Hi, can you clarify a few points so we can help you better:

  • what version of Android are you using?
  • Are you opening the pdf documents using Acrobat Mobile Reader? (by the way, there is a special forum for that where you might find the answer ou are looking for: Acrobat Reader Mobile - Adobe Community)
  • Do ou have an Adobe account already? if not, you do not need Creative Cloud.

I have an Adobe account; however, I've never purchased anything from Adobe. I use it primarily for reading documents sent to me or downloaded to me in a PDF. My business (temporarily closed due to health conditions) never needed PDFs, and we didn't create images and such. The hosting company and graphic designers did that for us, so I never really needed anything other than to be able to read a PDF. The Creative Cloud app was downloaded to me when I was somewhere on Adobe.com looking for something. I have no idea if I need a "Creative Cloud." I would guess that the regular cloud would be good enough. I believe anything mobile, along with a computer, gets uploaded to the cloud if you choose it to be.
