Hello,
The question I have is, if a document is deleted in Adobe cloud, can adobe admins access that document on the back end?

i know the forums and adobe documentation state that once a file is deleted is not recoverable. i just need to ensure, that adobe admins cannot access the document that was deleted from the back end.

Hi there,
Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.
No. Once a document is deleted from Adobe Document Cloud, Adobe admins cannot access or recover it from the backend.
Here’s how it works:
Once the document is permanently deleted from the Adobe Document Cloud, the document is removed from Adobe’s systems. After permanent deletion, Adobe administrators do not have backend access to view, retrieve, or restore the file.
Important note:
If the document was shared with others or stored under an organization-managed (enterprise) account, your organization’s IT or admin policies may affect access or retention. In that case, it’s best to check with your internal IT/admin team.
Hope this clears things up.

is there an Adobe document that clearly states that?

Hi there
++ Adding more information
You may use the Creative Cloud desktop app or the web interface to find the Deleted section under Files, where you can select and restore your PDFs within 30 days before they're permanently gone. This process works for PDFs saved to Document Cloud as well.
