I have received the following error message, how can I fix this? "There was an error opening this document. The file size exceeds the limit allowed and cannot be saved.:" the file is 128,894 KB

How was this file created? Are you just trying to open it in Adobe Acrobat or the free Adobe Reader? If not, what software are you using?

I have a couple of them that we received in pdf from Drop Box and I am just trying to open them to view them.

We don't know if there is a problem with the files, or if just Acrobat has a problem opening them. DropBox has a built-in PDF viewer. Go to drobpox.com in your browser and log in, then navigate to where the PDF files are stored and open one. Does it display correctly? If it does, that does not proof that the file is not corrupt, it just shows that DropBox may be able to get around the corrupt parts - but it's also possible that there might be a problem with Acrobat. In general, I would try to open the file in different PDF viewers (Chrome and FireFox also have their own viewers).
