Documents Turn Black When I Open Them

I took my computer in to Geek Squad a couple months ago and when I got it back and tried to open a document, the screen goes black. I can click around in the documnet and it will reveal little section but will go completely black again. Please see the attached picture. Any suggestions on how to fix this is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for reaching out and sorry for the trouble.

As the screen goes baclk when you open the PDF, please try repairing the application installation. In the application, go to Help > Repair installation. Ensure that you are using the latest version. 

Please share the Acrobat and OS version on the machine with us.

Try to reinstall the application. Uninstall the applicaiton and reboo the machine. Then install the application from the link: https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/.
