Hey all,
I have access to Acrobat (through my employer, as part of my job, with a paid subscription), installed on a typical Windows 11 PC. Does the license also include an installation on my M1 Mac? I have Acrobat installed on the Mac, but upon launching it, my only options are either "Buy Now" or "Start Free Trial." There doesn't seem to be an option to enter my Adobe ID/password and have that subscription apply.

Yes, the Acrobat license includes two activations with the same Adobe ID and PW. One can be Mac and the other Windows. If you have an Enterprise or Teams plan at work, things may be different, as IT may disallow the second use. Some offices allow this; others do not. What did your IT department say when you asked them?

From their side, they say everything is fine and good to go for two activations. The problem I'm having is that there doesn't seem to be a way to activate Acrobat on the Mac with my subscription credentials -- the only options are "Buy" or "Free Trial" (which requires a credit card).

If you are signed in, sign out. Then sign in with your Adobe ID and PW that you use at work.

OK, making progress. Sort of.
At this point, I can use Photoshop (personal subscription) and Acrobat (business subscription), but not both at the same time. I have to switch back and forth between my personal Adobe ID and my business Adobe ID for the respective apps to run. Is there a way both Photoshop and Acrobat can run at the same time?

You can only run both applications at the same time if you have the same account (same ID and PW) for both.
If you have two accounts, you need to sign in with your Adobe ID to see all the applications associated with that ID; then log out and log in with the other account to see those apps. You cannot be logged in with two IDs at the same time.
I know that's not the answer you wanted to hear...

Yeah, that's kinda what I figured. That's a pretty serious miss on Adobe's part -- I can't believe it would be that difficult to fix this. But I guess it's more important for their subscription revenue streams to work for their purposes than for me to get my work done. 🙂 And they'll never see this anyway. Or care.
Ah, well, Adobe, right?

I'm a volunteer — you can shoot the messenger if it makes you feel better 🙂, but all I can do is tell you what Adobe is telling us. Here is a message from Cory:

Oh gosh -- nothing against you in any way, Jane. In fact, many thanks for your responses and wise advice. My complaint is with Adobe, but I know how futile that is. I've been to the Summit many times, and the CX/UX message that the preach just seems hypocritical sometimes. But they're a giant corporation. I get it.
Maybe this is karma getting back at me for pirating Photoshop 1.0 on a 3.5" floppy disc back in 1991. 🙂

Hi @AndrewB8668
On June 27 in the same thread, Cory wrote "We have no way of knowing what the general release version will allow and anything like 'prior creations' ", so I don't think it was his decision either, but we are not told who makes them.
1.0? I didn't start for two more versions!

The fact you admitted this on the official site is beyond me XD
